The Haitian Revolution, which started in 1791 and ended in 1804, is known as one of the largest slave rebellions in the World. The revolution not only shattered the chains of slavery but also challenged the global norms of colonialism and white supremacy. Haiti successfully liberates itself from the French colonial power and it now has gained sovereignty and autonomy over its state. It is time to rebuild a prosperous Black nation with freedom and self-determination.

Delegates will be expected to address different struggles and perspectives to create a united and sovereign nation. Furthermore, delegates should come up with a plan to rebuild Haiti after the Haitian Revolution of 1804, while focusing on environmental, economic and defensive aspects in their resolution papers.
